What should I do if I feel like someone may be mentally ill?
  • ​Look for signs (sadness, withdrawal, suicidal thoughts, abuse of alcohol and drugs, etc)

  • If you can confirm he/she has a mental illness, report it immediately.

Side Note: It is very common for the person with the mental illness to tell you not to tell anyone. While listening to the person may seem like a safe approach, it is better to report it to someone who you trust or is an expert at the given condition.
